Recruiting Materials
Networking locally can create a future pipeline of applicants that makes recruiting easier in the long-term. The next time candidates are looking for a job, they will remember the positive interactions they had with Legend hiring managers. Creating this type of applicant flow will increase the number of qualified candidates available to hire when there are open positions..
“Start Your Journey” tri-fold brochuresRecruitment "Start Your Journey" Brochures (shown below) highlight the benefits of working in the senior living profession and provide information about Legend Senior Living. Career Wallet CardsHave you ever received extraordinary service by someone at a restaurant, hotel, bank or retailer? Afterward, did you think, “I wish they could work for Legend Senior Living. They’d be awesome!” When you experience great customer service or believe someone may be a good fit for senior living, you can use that opportunity to introduce the individual to Legend Senior Living and the idea of working in senior care. “You seem to really enjoy engaging with customers. That is one of the characteristics that is valuable when working with seniors. That’s what I do for a living. Promotional Giveaway Items
Giveaways are always a great way to break the ice. Choose from an array of products, such as pens, bags, coasters & more. Take these to career fairs or when you speak to students at local colleges.
School Networking
It is highly effective to build your recruiting pipeline by networking with local schools. Once you have made contact with the Career Center or particular degree program, offer to speak about the senior living industry to classes ( and bring food/treats!). Here is a pre-made Powerpoint presentation you can use for this purpose.

Job Fairs
There are two types of career fairs – internal and external.
External career fairs are usually sponsored by local universities, newspapers/media sources or vocational schools. Ask these sources to notify you of upcoming events.
Internal career fairs are held within the residence and provide opportunities for candidates to see senior living firsthand. These can be free. Both external and internal fairs should showcase what positions are currently available and how senior living can be a fulfilling career path.
